Jack Marley, Vice Chair

Soon after moving to Collingwood in 2009 (after 40+ years in Port Credit), it was immediately apparent to Jack that Collingwood is a very giving and volunteer-involved community.

Jack was first introduced to the Probus Club of Collingwood and this seemed to lead to other things: Jack helped organize, fundraise and build the Collingwood Labyrinth; currently Co-Chair of the Collingwood Trails Advisory Committee.  Jack received the Order of Collingwood in 2016.

Jack first became involved with the Hospital Foundation in 2012 by helping with the communications plan for the $10 million New Age of Care campaign.   Jack continues as Chair of the Communications Task Force at the Foundation as well as a Foundation Board Director.   Jack sits on the Facilities Committee at the Hospital and is Vice Chair of the Communities Engagement Committee.

Jack’s business career was in wholesale distribution as well as advertising, sales and marketing.

Jack enjoys the active lifestyle in Collingwood with hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, tennis and cycling as a ride leader with the Collingwood Cycling Club.   Jack and his wife Sue have three grown children and eight grand kids.
