The Bill McCreary Charity Golf Classic at Lora Bay
August 11, 2017
Bill McCreary, retired NHL hockey referee, inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014 began this event to recreate the atmosphere of hockey meeting golf to raise money for the local community. This event will host several NHL celebrities in attendance, including those living in the area like Kevin Klien, Tony Currie and Wayne Carleton. The Collingwood Hospital is the primary beneficiary of this event along with several other local charities.
Registering a foursome is a game in itself. The intimate setting of our event, and quick pace of play, limits the field size to 20 teams. In fairness to all those who wish to participate and support our great charities, a lottery system, much like the NHL Draft, will determine the participating teams. Please enter your foursomes on www.puckflip.com , prior to the deadline of July 7 at 11:59 p.m.
Entry Fee: $299/player in foursome.
Each entry fee will receive a $100 charitable donation tax receipt.
They are also hosting an online auction where you can bid on authentic NHL memorabilia and support this amazing event.
