Ski Movie Night made its annual return to the newly renovated Historic Gayety Theater on November 25th. This year’s event, hosted by organizers Andrea Baker-Nash and Kevin Nash raised $12,050 for the Hospital. Their new total is now $56,803 raised for the Hospital over the last five annual movie nights.

The new release of Matchstick Production’s Drop Everything was the highlight of the evening’s agenda. The Collingwood gala was visibly landmarked by spotlights shining into the late November night sky from the Gayety.

“We are incredibly proud of our army of volunteers, our loyal patrons, and our very generous sponsors” said Andrea celebrating the evening’s success. Kevin echoed “We especially thank Blue Mountain Resort for their fantastic community support of our annual fundraiser. They have been wonderful, unsung partners to work with. Blue Mountain’s support says a lot about their devotion to the Collingwood Hospital.”

This event sold out weeks earlier than ever before as the unofficial start of winter for skiers and snowboarders in the greater Collingwood area.
