Alison Sheffer was born & raised in Collingwood & is now a resident of Wasaga Beach along with her husband Mark & 2 daughters.
Alison has been employed by the Collingwood G&M Hospital Foundation since 2007 and is the Donor Relations & Stewardship Officer. In her role, Alison is responsible for coordinating and executing donor relations activities including donor recognition, stewardship and cultivation events. Alison’s favourite part of her job is building and maintaining relationships with donors and is often the staff member you will receive a warm thank you call from.
Alison is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and the Donor Stewardship Committee at CGMHF. Alison has extensive data base training with Blackbaud Raisers Edge and ensures the accurate and timely entry of donor data information in the Foundation’s database.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys an active lifestyle and is a Certified Personal Training Specialist (Canfit Pro) & is certified in CPR & First Aid training. Alison previously enjoyed a career as a Floral Designer for 15 years (Georgian College) prior to getting involved in the non-profit sector.
