Tatham Engineering Continues as Title Sponsor of Cancelled G&M Hospital Golf Classic

Collingwood, ON – Earlier this year, Collingwood G&M Hospital Foundation (CGMHF) cancelled all 2020 events due to the health pandemic, including the 27th Annual G&M Hospital Golf Classic held at Mad River Golf Club. While the decision was not made lightly, ensuring that all participants, sponsors, and the community are kept safe is the ongoing priority.

Tatham Engineering has played an important part in supporting the tournament since 2000 and became Title Sponsor of the Golf Classic in 2011. Following through with the $15,000 sponsorship this year is a true testament to the commitment Tatham’s has to healthcare in our community.

Over the years, the much-anticipated tournament has generated over $1,250,000 in funding for a wide range of state-of-the-art medical equipment for the Collingwood Hospital including a CT Scanner, surgical instruments, and patient record systems. The donation from Tatham Engineering will be the first donation to the Foundation’s upcoming “Help Us See Clearly” campaign for Diagnostic Imaging equipment to launch this fall.

Headquartered in Collingwood, with branch offices in Bracebridge, Barrie, Orillia and Ottawa, Tatham Engineering has a solid team of over 125 employees dedicated to supporting the communities in which they live and work.

“At Tatham Engineering, our desire to support our local communities is ingrained in our culture. Our founder, Charlie Tatham, was passionate in his support of the Collingwood G&M Hospital and we are proud as a company to carry on that tradition. We are truly grateful to be in a position to support the Collingwood G&M Hospital while their dedicated staff adapt to current times and plan for our future care.” – Dan Hurley, President at Tatham Engineering
