Pat Wright is an economist by training and a retired fundraising executive (CFRE) with over 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector including healthcare, education, the arts and international development. She has always been involved in her community including President of the International Women”s Club in Budapest, International Representative on the American International School Board in Budapest, president of the Junior league of Hamilton-Burlington, Board member of the Southern Ontario Ski Board, Board member of the Canadian Association of Fundraising Professionals and now sits as the Past-President of the Beaver Valley Probus Club.
She and her family had been weekenders for over 20 years. She retired to the Thornbury area 5 years ago with her husband George, a retired Canadian diplomat. Pat has 2 grown children – one in Boston and the other in Denver and one grandchild.
They both enjoy the active lifestyle our area provides including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, cycling and golf. She is a member of the Georgian Peaks Ski Club and the Monterra Golf Club.
She is a member of the Foundation’s Development Council.
