Nora is an 85-year-old Collingwood resident.
One day, she was brought to the Collingwood G&M Hospital, where she arrived unconscious.
After some exams, the emergency team was able to figure out what was wrong with Nora, and they decided the best course of action was for her to have emergency surgery. Nora says Dr. Koo saved her life. She couldn’t say enough about the care she received from Dr. Koo, the surgical nurses, and the physio staff.
Nora was also very thankful for the incredible food she received. She couldn’t say enough about how tasty it was.
In addition, Nora said that even though the hospital building is old, she thought it was extremely clean, which made her feel safe. She said the cleaning staff was extremely kind & always took the time to say hi.
Nora felt like she was in good hands at every step of her stay. After Nora was discharged, she was also grateful for the PSWs & physiotherapists who came to her house to continue her treatment.
Nora made a donation as a thank you for all of the amazing care she received. She put her gratitude in action, by making sure future patients have access to the same quality of care.
