In this episode of A Day Away, we go behind the scenes during Nurses Week, at the high paced CGMH Emergency Department to take a closer look at what it is like to provide care for CGMH patients through the eyes of a dedicated nurse and proud member of the community.

Korinne Horkey shares her deeply personal connection to the hospital, recalling a moment when the CGMH care team quite literally saved her life during one of her most vulnerable times and how that led her to become a nurse.

We also discuss the Emergency Department that will be part of Tomorrow’s Hospital and what it will mean for the patients and staff.
