Backspin Barn Party Raises $16,952 for Tomorrow’s Hospital

Collingwood, ON – July 29, 2026 – What started as an idea to bring people together for a good cause has grown into an event guests look forward to attending every year. This year, Backspin at the Barn welcomed over 220 guests to the Delean property, raising $16,952 in support of Tomorrow’s Hospital.

Backspin is a local South Georgian Bay band featuring John Bolger, Geoff Davies, Adam Delean, Derek Moilliet, and Paul O’Shea. Their dedication to the CGMH Foundation has taken many forms over the years, from barn parties to a golf course fundraiser to Backspin at Sidelaunch, adding up to a combined total of $39,750 raised over the years.

The Foundation is grateful to Backspin for their continued support and to Christiane and Adam Delean for once again opening their beautiful property to host this year’s barn party. Their generosity, along with the energy and support of everyone who came out, made the event a huge success.

“Events like this are a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together for a shared purpose,” said Sandra Taylor, President and CEO of the CGMH Foundation. “Backspin’s incredible entertainment and the Delean family’s generosity in hosting this special event have created a tradition that continues to make an impact on local healthcare. We are so grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and supported the cause. Every dollar raised helps bring Tomorrow’s Hospital closer to reality.”
