Jazz at the Deck on Cedar Street – 

An Afternoon of Big Band Jazz

An intimate backyard concert featuring the Jazz Connexion Big Band performing classic jazz standards and cool jazz favourites, all in support of the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH) Foundation and Tomorrow’s Hospital.

About Jazz Connexion:

Jazz Connexion Big Band is a Georgian Bay–based ensemble bringing the timeless sound of classic jazz to life through original arrangements of beloved standards from the American Songbook and cool jazz of the 1940s and ’50s. Featuring a mix of vocal and instrumental performances, the band is made up entirely of local musicians who share a passion for playing and preserving this rich musical tradition.

Performing in an intimate backyard setting, Jazz Connexion Big Band is proud to support the CGMH Foundation with “Jazz at the Deck on Cedar Street”—a relaxed afternoon of live music, community spirit, and charitable giving. Join us from 2:00–3:30 PM for a unique neighbourhood concert experience in support of the hospital’s future home. 

To join us for Jazz at the Deck on Cedar Street, please make a minimum $25 donation per person to the CGMH Foundation. Only the person making the donation will receive a tax receipt.

All proceeds will support Tomorrow’s Hospital, the new state-of-the-art hospital for South Georgian Bay.
