The Collingwood Blues Hockey Battles Cancer event raised $16,000 for the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital’s diagnostic imaging department.
Before the Tuesday evening playoff game, the project chair, Kathy Jeffery, announced the fundraiser’s success and helped present a cheque to the hospital in the hopes the funds will help support early detection of cancer.
