| Local Share: | 10% of construction costs + 100% of equipment and furnishings |
| OUR LOCAL SHARE FUNDRAISING GOAL: | $100 million+ |
While the provincial government covers up to 90% of construction costs, this leaves 10% of construction costs, plus the costs of all medical equipment and furnishings, to be funded through community support.
The local share, belongs to the people who will benefit from the new hospital and the families that will benefit for generations to come.

Our centrally located, new 32-acre site on Poplar Sideroad in Collingwood will allow for future growth and expansion of CGMH over the next several decades.

What’s next?
Ministry of Health and Infrastructure Ontario has approved the Functional Planning 1.3 Submission! CGMH has now entered Stage 2 (detailed planning) of the Ministry of Health’s capital planning process. This next stage transforms the project from concept to actionable design, where the physical layout of the early planning stage is realized in preliminary designs that will guide future construction of the new hospital.
